Wes Riggs
Fond du Lac fullback Wes Riggs led the Cardinals in rushing with 72 yards on 14 carries.
FOND DU LAC- The Fond du Lac Cardinals started week two of the 2005 season just like they left off in week one. Cardinal Luke Wacek returned the opening kickoff to the Oshkosh West 1 yard line and Eric Richter ran in for the score with less than a minute marked off the clock. After holding the Wildcat offense and a good punt return by Josh Korb, Wes Riggs ran the ball in for a 10 yard touchdown on the Cardinals first down bringing the score to 13-0 after a blocked extra point.

The game took a turn for the worse on the Cardinals next few possesions as they would fumble the ball away setting up numerous Wildcat scores. The only other Cardinal score came on a A.J. Hanson 44-yard field goal. The Cardinal offense fell flat with only 115 total yards allowing the Wilcats to pull away 35-16.
